Responsibilities: Drive efficient and effective Human Resources best practices and activities that will provide an associate-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Responsibilities include: Strategic business partner with departments concerning themes or initiatives that may have an associate impact. Provides associate relations services to associates in the form of facilitating open communication, resolving associate issues, and coaching. Provides HR generalist support to supervisors and managers including coaching and guidance on associate relations issues, policy interpretation, performance management, problem solving, FMLA, ADA, Worker Compensation and leave of absence administration. Responsible for full life cycle recruitment for non-exempt positions and provide support for exempt positions as needed. This includes developing and executing a staffing strategy, creating requisitions, coordinate recruiting efforts, interviewing, working with managers to make final selections and job offers, and counseling hiring managers on the hiring process and philosophy. Facilitates new hire orientation and manage temporary staffing efforts. HR Projects: participates on project teams and/or works independently on a variety of projects including the development of new policies, programs, performance management, succession planning, and training. Coordinates associate involvement activities, plans associate appreciation events and coordinates community relation events. Maintain employee HR files according to company and compliance guidelines. Contribute to and execute on the HR strategy. Drive a positive culture that creates an inspiring associate experience. Experience: Minimum of two years Human Resources experience in a generalist role in a fast-paced environment with multi-site locations. Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures and practices of effective HR leadership, including knowledge of state and federal employment (i.e., EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA) and compensation laws. Required Skills: Professional demeanor with the proven ability to effectively work with all associates across the organization. Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills (written and verbal) with a proven record of building relationships, influencing others, and collaborating across multiple operations and corporate support functions. Keen business acumen and attention to detail with a solid record of leading change and delivering business results. Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work well under changing dynamics and ambiguity. Degree: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field or equivalent experience.
