Burrow is seeking a Head of People & Culture to serve as the head of all strategic people operations. They will be responsible for ensuring Burrow continues to have a competitive advantage when it comes to human resources best practices, talent acquisition, talent development and organizational growth.. The Head of People & Culture will be the go-to business partner for department leaders in a variety of areas including internal communications, employee relations, performance management, resource management, team and individual development and practice/policy development and implementation. We want someone who cares about culture and the people that form it, and will ensure Burrow is living up to our promise of being the best employer we can be.. Day-to-Day Responsibilities. Provide leadership to Burrows People Operations functions including performance management, HRIS management, talent acquisition, employee compensation, benefits, learning and development, compliance, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and other people practices. Ensure policies, procedures, and HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals, and in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws. Measure employee satisfaction and lead change management initiatives where needed. Champion an organizational culture that focuses on building a high-performing, high trust, and inclusive environment across teams. Uncover gaps and identify new opportunities where technology can enhance the employee experience and support the needs of all teams. Lead a Talent Acquisition team to recruit high performers that can also demonstrate the Core Values of Burrow: Passion, Innovation, Collaboration and Community. Strategically assess, determine, and implement practices around talent pipeline, learning and development and retention aligned with organizational needs/priorities. Drive initiatives, events and internal processes that further establish the companys values and help promote cohesion & community. Ensure that paths for promotion and progress within the organization are clearly defined and articulated. You in a Nutshell. 7+ years of People/Human Resources/Human Capital Management experience in a leadership role. Experience in employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management, and recruitment along with a strong familiarity with employment laws and regulations. Demonstrated excellence in strategy, thought leadership, change management and collaborating across all functions. Strong analytical skills that help to identify key themes and trends. Successful track record of building and maintaining strong relationships and being a trusted advisor at all levels of the organization. Experience working to create and foster organizational culture initiatives. Strong believer in creating a diverse workforce and has a track record ensuring an organization has a diverse and inclusive culture. Bachelors degree or PHR or SPHR/SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or equivalent desired. Outstanding communication, interpersonal relationship and partnership skills. We all live busy lives.
