We are looking for a dynamic, driven and positive leader to help kick off our largest year of growth, with plans to double in size and bring over 500 new jobs to New Mexico. We're expanding and opening two new locations in 2019 at Central and Unser, and the companies first location in Santa Fe. There are plans to open five new locations that will create over 500 new full and part-time jobs in New Mexico, in addition to the 400 existing at Employer, making Employer of the largest local privately-owned companies in terms of employment in New Mexico. POSITION SUMMARY The Human Resources Director coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through the Human Resources staff; reports to the President and serves on the executive management team; and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Directs and coordinates activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies. Mentors, coaches and develops managers within the Supporting Services Department. Provides direction, structure and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the various departments. Communicates and ensures implementation of company vision, goals and objectives. Develops and creates strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals. Implements programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit. Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding budget requirements. Continuous performance management and the timely administration of performance evaluations. Hire, train and develop staff. Staff planning; succession planning. Oversight in the implementation of new processes, policies and/or procedures. Build, establish and document procedures and processes for the Supporting Services Department. Abreast of competition; best business practices and benchmarks industry standards. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED A Bachelor's degree in related field, Five (5) or more years of Human Resources experience with a minimum of three (3) years experience working with senior management. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. PHR or SPHR certification preferred. Experience developing and writing policies and procedures. Strong leadership, teaming and organizational skills. Must have a valid driver's license. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism. Must be able to provide excellent internal and external customer service. Must be able to professionally and cordially interact with a diverse group of people. Self-starter who takes initiative to improve the organization. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to lift and carry approximately 25 pounds. Must be able to perform the following tasks: walking, squatting, bending, stooping, standing, listening, reading and writing.
