Payroll Specilaist



job summary:

**Primary responsibilities include:**



+ Daily entries and updates to client payroll accounts

+ Sending out payroll reminders to clients 2-3 days before payroll processing

+ Finalizing and running payroll Monthly or Semimonthly

+ Assist in the various payroll tax audits and special projects

+ Respond to inquiries for payroll related issues

+ Track timesheet entries for eligible employees to ensure timely payments

+ Determine final pay for terminated employees (ex. final pro-rated salary, vacation pay, etc.)



**Qualifications**



+ At least an associate degree in Accounting and/or four (4) years of hands-on payroll experience

+ Strong analytical and research skills

+ Dependable and able to maintain confidential information

+ Detail oriented and ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently or with others

+ Excellent written and verbal communication

+ Experience with Microsoft Office products, with high proficiency in Excel
