We are looking for a Compensation Analyst for Rexel USA in Dallas, Texas.
Provides analytical support, ongoing research, financial modeling, and compensation analysis for base pay and incentive programs for employees.
Provides market pricing data to HR representatives.
Administers variable pay plans and sales compensation plans on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Creates or modifies job descriptions as needed.
Makes edits to compensation plan documents for variable pay, sales commission plan and base pay programs.
Works with divisional & geographic HR representatives across the company by responding to inquiries, running reports, etc.
Runs and downloads report from companys HRIS for the purposes of analysis & data distribution.
Provide analysis of compliance programs for state and federal legislation such as FLSA analysis.
Intakes phone calls and emails from internal customers and then provides a high level of customer service.
May be asked to liaison between vendors and employees regarding our Stock Plans and Service Awards
Commissions and sales bonus experience; preferably for a large company
Comfortable working with finance employees and management to gather information needed
Comfortable with systems; SuccessFactors (Variable Pay and/or Compensation module) and ADP experience a plus
Experience in Base Salary Administration a plus
Strong analytical skills.
Intermediate written and presentation skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, if/then statements, macros are a plus and regression analysis)
Experience with Oracle Incentive Compensation is preferred but not required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Education:
Four (4) year Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Human Resources
At least 2 years experience in the HR compensation field or the sales commission industry supporting incentive plan calculation and or sales commission plan calculations
General understanding of base wage and or salary administration programs such as market pricing jobs with an understanding of salary bands, merit & performance management programs
Experience with financial modeling and forecasting using Microsoft Excel
Must have excellent Microsoft Excel skills such as being comfortable with 1000s and 1000s of rows of data, and use database functions such as the if function along with the normal set of Excel formulas
