Position Description:The Sr. Analyst is responsible for the administration of day-to-day benefit plans (as assigned) and project management of small to medium and/or long-term concurrent initiatives which support the strategic goals of the Benefits Department Globally. This includes project delivery including scope, timelines, resources, budget, risks and issues, relationships and communication under direct supervision. This role is responsible for meeting deadlines and goals for project timelines to achieve performance expectations. Continually strive to improve the efficiency of our Benefits operations across the globe. Key Job Activities 1) Administers policies and procedures to support day-to-day benefit activities. Coordinate, manage and draft communications (e. g., for employees, managers, vendors etc.). Prepare responses to employee escalations as needed 2) Under direct supervision, acts as project manager for Global Benefits related projects as assigned, including initiation, planning, execution, implementation and post implementation activities. Define and manage project scope. Prepares recommendations on issues and challenges. Develop and manage and report on detailed work plans, project plans, project schedules. Escalate issues around needed resources (e. g., personnel or costs etc.) to supervisor. Under supervision set priorities and maintain project schedules. Monitor and report on project activity and progress. Conduct project meetings and be responsible for project tracking. Utilizes functional experts, end users, internal IT staff, other internal business partners and external HR Systems support functions to ensure processes are in control and systems provide accurate information. Ensures all parts of project are documented and communicated such as requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, project plans, policies, procedures, new standards, status and training. Works closely with other parts of the organization, as necessary, to ensure all tasks are completed. Brings recurring issues to manager s attention and assists in providing direction / suggestions to the resolution of problems. 3) 4) Observe and suggest continuous improvements for the Benefits processes and programs. Prepares, maintains desktop procedures for Benefits Administration processes Perform audits and analysis as necessary for large scope issues Analyze demographic, financial or statistical data to summarize costs or trends Prepare and present reports, explaining their implications to regional or global benefits teams Prepare presentations, reports, valuations and quarterly updates. Act as a liaison with HRIS as Benefits Subject Matter Expert Identifies and communicates system needs to manager and HRIS Works with HRIS to determine and improve automatic solutions Conducts periodic audits to ensure benefits data is accuratePosition Requirements:Education equivalent to Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources or Business, or the equivalent in related work experi-ence, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of HR, Payroll and Benefits applications, system development methodologies, and online systems. Three to five years of Benefits Administration experience or the equivalent demonstrating the ability to develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in relation to Benefits Administration practices and procedures manage projects. Demonstrates the ability to manage external vendors, driving results, ensuring maximum return on investment. Demonstrates significant knowledge of one or more HRIS/Payroll systems; preferably ADP, PeopleSoft, or Kronos. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Must possess exceptional communication skills (verbal & written) and organizational skills. Must possess excellent problem solving and decision making skills. Possession of Certified Project Management Professional preferred, but not required.
