Description: Our client supports 34 physician practices located throughout Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten-Island, Westchester, and Orange County. They are seeking an experienced Physician Recruiter to join their Human Resources Department.
Manage relationships and work closely with Physician Partners and Office Managers to successfully recruit and retain exceptional candidates within pediatrics.
Accountable for all aspects of Physician and Advanced Practitioner (Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner) recruitment, including sourcing, screening, coordinating & conducting behavioral interviews, and facilitating the on-boarding process.
Write and post Job descriptions and recruitment advertisements on various social media platforms social media, professional journals, and web-sites.
Utilize Applicant Tracking System to facilitate recruitment process and produce weekly candidate and job progress reports.
Develop positive relationships with potential candidates and maintains communication regarding candidate status progression; demonstrated follow through.
Conduct behavioral based interviews with candidates and assists Physician Partners and Office Manager in facilitating interviews within best-practice guidelines.
Work with educational institutions and residency programs to develop clinical rotation opportunities and build candidate volume to meet current and future organizational needs.
Work with Physician Partners and Management to negotiate employment offers, such as salary proposals, benefits, and all aspects of contract revisions and final execution.
Ensure all reference/background checks, on-boarding and credentialing processes are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Bachelor s Degree in related field.
Minimum of 4 Years Healthcare Recruitment experience, with at least 2 years direct Physician Recruitment experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience developing strong relationships with internal and external clients in a customer-service focused manner.
Social media recruitment experience, and professional networking experience.
Ability to problem-solve and develop effective solutions to recruitment challenges.
Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) for recruitment and productivity reporting.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects independently while also working effectively on a team.
Ability to travel to Allied Practice Sites, career events, and educational institutions.
Association of Staff Physician Recruiters Certification preferred (AASPR, DASPR or FASPR).
